what an example of what it is to be a true adventurer – i can only doff my cap to his grit, determination and resolution to continue when so much was set against him. That it ended in this way is no fair measure of the man
    RIP

It is with deepest sadness to hear and read about such a tragic loss. A true explorer and great inspirational leader who reached out to others and will always be remembered for his exceptional courage, determination and friendship. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family. Henry you gave it your all. I am very proud and privileged to have served with you and known you as a friend. Rest in peace.

I just learned of the expedition today, along with the passing of Mr. Worsley.

I am so deeply moved and inspired by his endeavor. He is a hero.

    With sincere condolences,

    Mary

  4. We regret that Henry has died in our country, but here we have a proverb: “He died doing what he loved.” Now he will explore new worlds, no pain, no cold and in the light of eternity.

What an extraordinary achievement by a great explorer. How heartbreaking that Henry go so close to his goal but in the end didn’t quite make it. Thoughts with his family for now, but looking forward to Henry’s feat getting the acclaim it deserves and taking its place in history.

I don’t think it heartbreaking at all. He achieved his goal and made it to where he was suppose to. He is a great success.
